We've been busy!!!!

The past few weeks have gone by so quickly!!! Sara has proven to be a great traveler once again. Mike and I took her to New York City this past weekend for Ross and Stephanie's wedding. We rode up with Randy and Amy and Sara slept in the car and woke up to eat when we stopped for lunch. She was such an angel while we were there. She did some sight seeing with daddy while I worked with the other girls on last minute wedding details. She looked so pretty for the wedding. She slept through most of the reception even with the music playing loudly. Stephanie was a beautiful bride and got to spend some time with Sara on Sunday at brunch. We had a great time.

Sara is almost 9 weeks old and is doing wonderfully. At her 2 month check-up today she weighed 10 lbs. 5 oz. and was 22 3/4 inches long. The doctor said she looked good and was a healthy little girl. After the exam Sara had to have 4 immunization shots. She only cried during them and as soon as the were finished she settled down and fell asleep for an hour. We gave her some Tylenol and will give her more before bed tonight so that she hopefully won't be too sore tomorrow.

We had a very nice 4th of July. We went to Grandma and Grandpa's House and our friends Randy, Amy and Katy joined us for the day. We had great food and enjoyed playing with Katy in the yard. It was a nice relaxing way to spend the holiday.

Sara loves being outside and today we walked over to T. Roosevelt Island and then down the GW Parkway, next to the river. We enjoyed the walk and I think we may go down to the tidal basin later this week for another stroll. Sara also really enjoys her new floor play mat and her swing.
