The End of Summer

The months of July and Aug. were also busy for baby Sara. She went back to New York City to do some sight seeing!!Grandma Bec, Grandpa, Aunt Katie, Aunt Jamie, Cole, Kyle, Mommy and Daddy all went along too. We had a great family vacation. We saw the Statue of Liberty, the Empire State Building, Times Square, the Museum of Natural History, and Sara went to her first Yankees game!!! We stayed in Manhattan and felt like we were all part of the Big Apple! What a great trip!

We also took Sara to see her grandparents in Newport News and to meet her Uncle Allan, Uncle Kevin, Aunt Leslie and her cousins McKenzie and Meaghan. She also got to meet her Great Grammy!!! We had a great weekend with everyone!

Sara went on one more quick trip to Newport News a few weeks later to cheer on Cole and Kyle while they played football. They both won that day so Sara figures she is good luck! It was a hot day so Sara had to cool off a bit!!!

Sara also got to meet her Aunt Myra and Uncle Harold in September. Her cousin Marney and friend Gary also came for breakfast that day so we could wish Uncle Harold a Happy Birthday!

On September 4th Sara was excited to welcome her new buddy Ray to the world! Ray was born late that night so Sara went to visit him the next day! We are so glad he is here!
After resting at home for a couple of weeks...Sara, Grandma Bec and Mommy went on a road trip to visit Aunt Katie. We had such a nice time and on Saturday we met the Grandma Wood, Aunt Cindy, Sarah and Anna for some fun shopping. We had such a nice weekend and Sara proved again to be a great traveler.

The last two weeks Sara has been going to her new school a few mornings a week. She loves her teacher and is happy while she is there. Mommy had a few tears...okay a lot of tears the first couple days but is doing better each time she drops her off. Sara will start full time and The Childrens School on October 13th and mommy will be back to work. Time goes by sooooo fast!

We are all looking forward to the holidays this year and can't wait to see the family. Love you all!
